NOTE:

At instigation of Nikolay Kibalchich (designer of AnTrop company) test pressing of IMAGINE LP was made, according to the rumors, in number of 10 (ten) copies, most likely in April-May of 1993. But afterwards the commercial release of this LP was denied.

Records of test pressing by AnTrop were released without sleeves, with blank white labels and were inserted into blank white paper inner sleeves. This edition can be identified only by main part of matrix numbers: ATR   30033 on side 1, ATR   30034 on side 2 [see Pic. 1].

According to the available information Kibalchich distributed pressed records among the people he knew. At least four persons replenished their collections by this album are known.

Pic. 2 shows labels of LP got by Valeriy Vaganov – Russian beatlefan (and John Lennon expert) from Yekaterinburg city. Side 1 carries presentation inscription from Nikolay Kibalchich, which says: "From Kolya to Valeriy as a kind keepsake! From Peter to Yekaterinburg. August 18, 1993" (Kolya is the hypocoristic name for Nikolay; Peter is the colloquialism for St. Petersburg city). In this inscription you can clearly see the private logo of Nikolay Kibalchich – НK (in his name, instead of letter "K"). On side 2 You can see autograph by Andrey Tropillo (founder of AnTrop company). The sign was made two days earlier (but August listed by Roman digits is spelled with a mistake). This inscription says that well-known AnTrop’s logo is actually Tropillo’s private sign.

Pic. 3, 4 show the labels of LPs from the collections of twin-brothers Vladimir Snopov and Sergey Snopov from Samara city (the brothers are known Russian beatlefans who have been publishing Russian-language fanzine From Me To You since 1998). On the labels of both LPs October 9, 1993 is stated near the sign of Nikolay Kibalchich.

Earlier in 1977 this album was released by Melodiya – see the main page of IMAGINE (Melodiya).

Also in the USSR IMAGINE released by Balkanton company from Bulgaria was sold – refer to the page of IMAGINE (Balkanton).
