NOTE

John's last record released on the Apple label, is a collection of his greatest hits, which were edited/shortened by John himself. John later named the collection Shaved Fish after a brand of Japanese cigarettes. It was also a pun in that several of the songs were "shaved" to reduce their running time for the LP.

The album was released on October 24,1975.

First issue covers erroneously credit Cold Turkey as "Produced by JOHN & YOKO and PHIL SPECTOR" [see Pic. 1]. Later covers, correctly state "Produced by JOHN & YOKO".

The original inner sleeve has altered lyrics to some of the songs. In song Give Peace A Chance the word "masturbation", which was in the original lyrics, was replaced by "mastication" [see Pic. 2].

Последний альбом Джона, выпущенный на лейбле Apple, представляет собой сборник его наилучших хитов, которые предварительно были отредактированы/сокращены по времени самим Джоном. Позже Джон назвал сборник Shaved Fish (Бритая рыба) в честь марки японских сигарет. Это также был каламбур, поскольку несколько песен были "бриты", чтобы сократить время их воспроизведения для LP.

Альбом вышел 24 октября 1975 года.

Обложки первого издания имели неточность в кредитах к композиции Cold Turkey как "Produced by JOHN & YOKO and PHIL SPECTOR" [см. Рис. 1]. При последующих переизданиях кредиты были исправлены на "Produced by JOHN & YOKO".
